Cape Farewell

Artists and scientists concerned about climate change

Cape Farewell is an innovative program, created by artist David Buckland in 2001 "to instigate a cultural response to climate change." Cape Farewell's annual voyages head to the Arctic and other geographic regions world-wide to witness the effects of rapid climate change and to communicate through the emotional responses of the arts, as well as through hard science, the urgency of action.
